Reflecting back on the AS year

Before we broke up I was given an intorduction to the music industry.  I learn't that a music video is defiend as a videotaped performance of a recorded popular song. which is often acompanied by dance and moving image that add layers to the lyrics. Music videos help;

• promote the song of the artist
• help the target audience rember the song 
• provide a visual pleasure for the audience
• promote the artist 

 The first music video ever made was said to be the 'Buggles video killed the radio which aired in 1979 on MTV whiched costed £50,000 to make and was shot in a day.
